About Early Advantage, Inc.

Early Advantage, Inc. Early Advantage Seech Therapy, Inc. was founded in 2005 by Amy Ramsell Furey, M.S., CCC-SLP. Amy founded the company to assist school districts and other child care organizations in finding and employing qualified speech pathology professionals for their organizations.

Amy's goal in creating Early Advantage Speech Therapy was to provide independent therapists with a platform from which combine the schedule flexibility and financial benefits of self-employment with the benefits of working for a company that can assist with placement, marketing, and administration.

Amy Ramsell Furey, M.S. CCC-SLP

Amy is licensed by the State Board of Texas as a Speech Language Pathologist and maintains her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC's) from the American Speech-Hearing Association (ASHA). She has over ten years of experience working in a variety of settings including a private practice, early childhood intervention (ECI), schools, and head start preschool programs. She has found success and satisfaction in the field of Speech Pathology by focusing her career on the birth through adolescent population. Amy received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Houston and her Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Lamar University .
